Pula
Roman heritage on the southern tip of Istria
Pula is Istria's largest city, famous for its remarkably preserved 1st-century Roman Arena. With a lively old town, beautiful coves like Verudela and Premantura, and the Brijuni National Park nearby, it makes a perfect base for exploring southern Istria.
Things to do
- •Visit the Arena — one of the six best-preserved Roman amphitheatres
- •Walk through the Golden Gate and Forum with the Temple of Augustus
- •Swim in the crystal-clear coves of Cape Kamenjak
- •Take a day boat trip to Brijuni National Park
- •Sample Istrian wines and truffles in the surrounding tavernas
Getting there
Pula Airport is only 6 km from the city centre. We offer transfers from Pula to all Istrian towns (Rovinj, Poreč, Umag), and further to Rijeka, Opatija and Zagreb. For groups up to 7 we run a van transfer.
